Cruelty to Animals

i am tooth and nail to my core against animal cruelty....i think it is one of the sickest forms of torture imaginable. to neglect or harm poor innocent creatures is beyond horrible. thank god there are some organisations that work to prevent this kind of behaviour and help to take care of and rehome the poor creatures that have been subjected to it.

one does not need to give money to help these animals...just be aware of the terrible cruelty that goes on and do any little bit to help one can. whether that just be notifying the ispca of cruelty/neglect in your area, taking a stray kitten/bird to the local vet to rehome, or getting your next pet at a shelter rather than a private breeder...remember every little bit could be a life saved!

and so after 6 fantastic weeks of exhilarating, no holes barred cringy viewing Geordie Shore has come to an end! the characters were fab and i think its safe to say it kicked Jersey Shores ass (though i still love JS) I think Charlotte had to have some of the best one liners...but they all did really...go team sophie!...'you're an absolute tampon Jay' haha epic...roll on season 2!

I just finished watching Soul Surfer. The film depicts 13 year old surfer Bethany Hamilton losing her arm in a shark attack and documents her endless determination to once again surf. Inspiring and true it really showed how some people overcome major struggles in their lives.

Pretty Little Liars is just back on our tv screens and i'll admit im hooked! maybe its the fact that i just gotta find out who killed Ali or seeing how much sneaking around the girls can actually get away with! Also the fact that theres one of the hottest teachers in the world featuring could be a factor! From that steamy car romp with Aria in season one i was in!

Beyonce....a goddess

Beyonce can do no wrong at the moment. She is in a word golden. Happily married, endlessly successful and beautiful. She is a fantastic role model who is not obnoxious about her wealth and fame. (I also adore the fact that she is not a size zero but still hot as hell!) She recently headlined at Glastonbury, the first time a female artist has had this honour in over 20 years. I am SO jealous of everyone who got to see her!

Bridesmaids

i went on a girlie dat enight with my bestie the other night and we went to see Bridesmaids. Part of me was only going to see it for her benefit as I assumed it was going to be a typical rom-com that one could take or leave...but it was actually really good! good solid funnys, good 'ol girlie bitching and fantastic acting by Kristen Wiig. I highly recommend! 

TEA

it is almost like cultural blasphemy if an Irish person doesn't drink tea! however after many loyal years to Barrys I find myself (embracing my new 'healthy' buzz) branching out trying different teas...i LOVE Clipper Lemon green tea. and am currently trying out the celeb trend Pu-Erh. I'm not gonna lie...it smells like brewed dirt. tastes fine! so throwing in a lemon to mask the earth like scent!
